Crowdsourcing neighborhood boundaries

Bostonography, a blog that focuses on maps, graphics and geography, recently launched an effort to try to define where the borders of Boston’s neighborhoods lie. By using an interactive online mapping function to crowdsource where others draw the lines, the blog’s authors, cartographers Andy Woodruff and Tim Wallace, hope to try to settle a long-debated, never answered issue. The blog owners said that, so far, they have collected about 300 submissions.
