Blizzard of 1978: Then and now

In Scituate, on Lighthouse Road in the Sand Hills section, exceptionally high tides and hurricane-strength winds threw houses and cars around like toys in the Blizzard of ’78. Homes on Lighthouse Road have been rebuilt – and then some – albeit on piers in case another coastal flood hits.
