A Marlborough woman was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital by helicopter last night after a two-car crash on Route 128 southbound in Waltham, State Police said. At about 8:30 p.m., State Police responded to the accident near Exit 27, where a Honda Civic had spun out, striking a Ford Explorer traveling in the far left lane, said State Police. The Honda, operated by Yamel Jimenez, 26, also had two children, ages 4 and 8, inside, according to State Police. All occupants of the Honda suffered serious injuries, State Police said. The Explorer struck the guardrail and rolled over, leaving the driver, Joseph Lupo, 36, with minor injuries, State Police said. Lupo was taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital, State Police said.
