It’s been a long time coming, but Waltham finally has a new website. Visitors to www.city.waltham.ma.us will notice that the clunky, nonuniform, and hard-to-search layout has been replaced with a sleek design produced by a Maynard company, Virtual Towns & Schools, which serves about 300 municipal websites. Other Massachusetts clients include Natick, Sherborn, and Wellesley. The city’s E-Committee oversaw the monthslong overhaul. - Megan McKee
