Statewide honor for Fitzgerald Elementary nurse

The Massachusetts School Nurse Organization has named Fitzgerald Elementary School staff member Cathy Vieira as its school nurse of the year. Vieira, who was honored on Oct. 26 by Waltham's City Council, received the award during the statewide organization's fall conference in Westborough on Oct. 31. Boston Globe, 10/28/09

Ruling narrows focus of Rose Museum lawsuit

Brandeis University is drafting a stipulation covering an element of a lawsuit against its plans for the Rose Art Museum, according to Thomas Reilly, the university's lawyer, based on a judge's recent ruling to limit the case's scope to the plaintiffs' ability to control their own donations or those of their ancestors to the Rose.
