Kindergarten registration

Parents of children eligible for kindergarten this fall should pick up a registration packet at their neighborhood school Feb. 13 to 17 between 8:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Proof of residency and a copy of the child’s birth certificate is required. At that time, a school secretary will schedule an appointment for registration and a classroom visit on either May 17 or 18. A kindergarten parent information night is scheduled for May 15, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the school district’s five elementary schools. Students must be 5 years old by Sept. 1 to enter kindergarten. - Michele Morgan Bolton
