WOMEN'S RACE Inspired Roba flags down third in a row
Riding the enthusiastic support of her fellow Ethiopians, Fatuma Roba shook off fatigue and sped to victory in 2:23:25, joining German Uta Pippig as the only women to win three straight Boston Marathons. Franziska Rochat-Moser of Switzerland was a distant second in 2:25:51.
