The average price of gas in Massachusetts was $3.35 per gallon in the latest weekly AAA survey, up 7 cents from the previous week’s average, AAA Southern New England said Monday.
The increase comes just as consumers are getting ready to make Thanksgiving holiday visits.
The current price is 7 cents higher than the national average of $3.28 a gallon. A year ago at this time, the Massachusetts average price was 21 cents higher at $3.56, AAA Southern New England said.
In the latest weekly Massachusetts survey, there was a 35 cent price range, from a low of $3.20 to a high of $3.55, AAA Southern New England said.
AAA’s weekly surveys focus on self-serve, regular unleaded gas.
