Rajesh (Raj) Khubchandani is leaving his post as the general manager of the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common to become the GM of the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner near Washington, D.C.
Khubchandani made the disclosure in a letter sent to some of the hotel’s top clients. He wrote that his first day on the new job is March 5, “and we anticipate sharing the name of my successor shortly.”
Khubchandani has been GM of the Boston Ritz for nearly three years and said he was leaving “with mixed emotions.”
During his tenure, the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common renovated all of its food and beverage outlets and debuted Artisan Bistro and Avery Bar. And the hotel continued to earn the prestigious Five Diamond award from AAA every year while Khubchandani was GM.
