Q. The battery is always going dead in my 2013 Chevrolet pickup. I’ve had the battery replaced and the electrical system tested, but still have the same problem. The truck is completely stock, except for a remote engine starter. Could that be the problem?
A. The remote car starter could certainly be an issue. Over the years I have seen this many times. Try this simple test: Have the shop disconnect it completely. If the battery remains charged, you’ve found the problem.
