Starting next year, the Detroit auto show moves from January to June.

Since 1987, the North American International Auto Show in Detroit has been held in January, offering a glimpse at the new vehicle debuts for the upcoming model year. But starting in 2020, the show will instead take place in June, marking the end of its longstanding winter timing.
The move to June aims to attract more automakers to participate, especially given the Consumer Electronics Show often comes right before Detroit. Many brands now use CES to debut the latest infotainment and self-driving technologies.
So what does that leave for this final Detroit auto show in January? Not a ton of debuts, especially compared with the Los Angeles International Auto Show a few weeks ago. But many of the vehicles that were unveiled this week are significant to car shoppers.
