Editors at the consumer finance publisher Bankrate released a list that no automaker wants to find itself on: A list of the 10 ugliest cars of 2016.

Bankrate says these vehicles – which include ultra-exotic and luxury vehicles, some eco-friendly rides and everyday SUVs – “range from sort of ugly to downright ugly.’’

Every day drivers will probably find a few of Bankrate’s picks understandable. For example, the Honda CR-Z sort of looks like it was partially flattened from behind.

Even the Nissan Juke has a shape that makes it stand out in the crowd – perhaps for all the wrong reasons.

On the other hand, there are some fairly ordinary-looking cars, like the Lincoln MKT, included among Bankrate’s ugliest cars list.

Perhaps the most surprising vehicle on Bankrate’s list is the ultra exotic Bugatti Chiron, which comes with a price tag of $2.6 million. Editors at Bankrate were unimpressed with the Chiron’s headlight setup, which make the car look like an arachnid.
