Nothing takes the intimidation away from working out like finding a space to exercise where you feel comfortable and in control of your body’s progress.
No matter your goals, we can all benefit from getting more exercise and movement in our lives, but it can sometimes be hard to find the right fit in a gym, studio, or class to make that happen.
Across the country, the most common New Year’s resolutions have to do with improving exercise and dieting habits. A poll by YouGov and Economist found that 23% of Americans plan to focus on living healthier in the coming year and a number of Boston.com readers count themselves among that group.
One reader shared that they were looking to exercise more because they not only “want to feel and look better,” but also “have more energy.”
