Spring has sprung!

With the weather warming up and the days getting brighter, a lot more time will be spent outside, enjoying the sunshine on a morning run or afternoon picnic.

For many people, another pandemic winter made mental health struggles even more challenging this year. But time outdoors can be an antidote to feelings of anxiety or sadness. Green spaces, like those that make up the Emerald Necklace, offer mental, social, and physical benefits, according to a University of Delaware study.

We’re looking to create guide of the best parks and green spaces in Greater Boston and we want to know which ones are favorites among Boston.com readers. When spring fever hits and you want to spend time outdoors, which parks, gardens, or trails do you head for?
