I can't think of a more talented team that laid down in the playoffs more than the Bylsma led Penguins. I'm not even trying to be argumentative.  I just can't believe that anyone thought Bylsma got af more »

I guess the cap going up is good for the Bruins.  But it's also good for everyone else. Since the Bruins didn't do much at all with deadline deals or bonuses this year (and a lot of other teams did), more »

It always seems like both sides are sketchy when we hear about these things. I remember last year hearing about a Habs fan who was treated poorly in Boston and had some beer dumped on him.  Felt bad f more »

It's 4/20 here in Denver.  Everyone is seeing two McDavids. Yeah, as lame as the Oilers are with all of these picks, that wasn't the most objectionable outcome for me. Thank God it wasn't Toronto.  Bu more »

I'd probably say Soderberg, since he still kinda plays that Euro style, doesn't hit, and doesn't really forecheck well.  Not that he's a bad player, but just that he doesn't really fit. I think that M more »

Yo...whatwhatwhat... Bylsma always struck me as kind of an underachiever, and he was very unpopular in Pittsburgh by the time he left.  The whiny, bitter types on their message boards hated him even m more »

This is a long shot, but I'll be interested to see what Colton Hargrove can do in Providence.  He's only about 6'1 but is closing in on 220 lbs.  I watched two Western Michigan games this year, and he more »

It would be nice to move on from Kelly on a few levels, but $2.5 million for a veteran who scores 30 points, wins faceoffs, fights a little, and can cover multiple positions isn't so bad.  Especially more »

It's really hard to watch the Habs, because I really thought the Bruins could be ripe for the upset there.

I still see weaknesses there.  Weaknesses that somehow weren't fully exploited last year...
