Some of the best breweries from around the globe are uniting at the South End’s SOWA Power Station this weekend for the Copenhagen Beer & Music Festival.

The event, which has been held for years in Copenhagen, Denmark, is hitting Boston for the second year in a row and putting the spotlight on local breweries like Trillium and Night Shift, as well as those from abroad, like Cloudwater Brew Co. (London) and Mikkeller (Copenhagen).

Attendees can hit up three live music-filled sessions over the course of the weekend: Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. VIP sessions will take place starting one hour prior to those times and continue to the same end time. Tickets include unlimited sampling throughout the event, along with the chance to purchase food from Tasty Burger, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, Zinneken’s Waffles, and BBD’s (featuring NYC street falafel).

Over on our Facebook page, we took our followers on a tour of what the festival looked like Friday afternoon just as the VIP guests began strolling in and the brewers started pouring. Check it out below. (Video may take a moment to load.)
