Gisele Bündchen apologized Thursday for statements she made during an interview with Vogue magazine.

Taking to Twitter, Bündchen said she was “sorry that my words in my most recent Vogue article were misunderstood.’’

Bündchen was likely apologizing for a portion of the interview in which she was asked about social media, replying that she’s “older, wiser. If I had to promote myself in the way girls modeling now have to do, forget it. I wouldn’t do it.’’

The supermodel said her “intention was simply to express that I come an older generation and am not technologically savvy.’’

Bündchen said she admires “the younger generation and their skill to manage all the added demand of social media.’’

“I certainly never feel that I am wiser than anyone, and I believe that we are all learning.’’

Bündchen, who is on the cover of the July issue of the magazine, shared details of her life with husband Tom Brady with the publication, including the story of their engagement.
