Robert Kennedy III marries former CIA officer at Cape Cod family compound

The two got hitched over the weekend.

The Kennedy family added a new member this past weekend.

Robert “Bobby” Kennedy III, the grandson of Ethel Kennedy and the late Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, said “I do” to former CIA officer Amaryllis Fox in Hyannis Port on Saturday.

Several members of the Kennedy clan — including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the groom’s father; Cheryl Hines, the groom’s stepmother; and Kerry Kennedy, the groom’s aunt — posted photos on Instagram to commemorate the occasion.

In a June 26 article, RFK Jr. told Town & Country magazine that he was “really happy” about the then-impending nuptials.

“We love her,” he said of the Kennedy family’s feelings toward Fox.

RFK Jr. told T&C that the wedding was planned to be similar to his and Hines’ in 2014 in that it’s “going to be kind of a clambake, which is the same thing Cheryl and I did and it worked.”

Unlike many members of his family, Bobby, 33, chose to forgo a career in politics in favor of working in the entertainment industry. Most recently, he has solicited funds to produce “Freak Power,” an adaptation of a book by the same name about the late gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson’s 1970 campaign for the office of sheriff of Pitkin County, Colorado.

According to her bio on WME Speakers, Fox, 37, began working with the CIA while completing a master’s in international security at Georgetown University, eventually serving as a Clandestine Services officer until 2009. The daughter of an English actress and an American economist, Fox also has a daughter of her own, Zoe, whom she frequently posts about on Instagram.
