“Captain America” actor Chris Evans received a superhero’s welcome when he stopped by a Boston nightclub this past weekend.

The Sudbury native partied with some friends at Seaport hot spot The Grand on Saturday night, enjoying Tito’s Vodka and champagne, according to a publicist for the club.

Employees at The Grand gave the group a “Captain America parade,” a Marvel-themed twist on the nightclub’s signature bottle service presentation, complete with confetti, themed outfits, and sparklers.

Evans has finished filming his part in the untitled sequel to “Avengers: Infinity War,” which is due in theaters May 3, 2019. He told The New York Times in March that he had no plans to return as Captain America once his contract ended in 2019.
