At the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Casey Affleck shared a positive update regarding his brother Ben Affleck’s battle with alcohol addiction.

The younger Affleck brother, 43, briefly discussed his sibling’s visit to rehab during an “Entertainment Tonight” interview at the premiere of his new film, “The Old Man and the Gun,” which received a standing ovation Monday night.

“He’s doing great,” Casey Affleck told ET. “He’s in rehab and he’s recovering and seems to be doing well.”

Casey Affleck also talked about his older brother’s most recent visit to rehab in an interview with “Extra” at the film festival.

“I think he’s holding up, taking some time for himself, his family — he’s going to be OK,” he said. “He’s a great guy, and he’s going to get things back on track.”

Ben Affleck, 46, has struggled with alcohol addiction for a number of years, most recently seeking treatment in 2017 prior to checking into rehab last month.
