Our May/June 2014 issue is in mailboxes, newsstands, and online this week. On the cover, a sculptural pool house in Rhode Island frames the pool and the view of the sea beyond. It is part of a compound where a couple lives and entertains, and, most importantly, relaxes next to the waters of Narragansett Bay and Bristol Harbor (“Change of Scene”). The issue’s “Laid-Back Living” theme continues in a modern Connecticut farmhouse nestled on a sloping meadow surrounded by woods. There’s also the outdoor wonderland of New Hampshire garden artist Jill Nooney, the stylish rehab of the Vermont home of designer Milford Cushman, and a kitchen addition for a 1930s Spanish Revival home. In the city, a historic Back Bay town house is revived to be both gracious and comfortable for the family that loves living there. Read the issue online now!
