Globe ‘Spotlight’ Movie Holding Open Casting Call

“Spotlight,’’ the upcoming film based on The Boston Globe Spotlight team’s Pulitzer Prize-winning reporting on the Catholic Church scandal, is looking for extras.

The flick, which will star Rachel McAdams, Mark Ruffalo, Liev Schreiber, and Michael Keaton, is looking for help (likely only a day) from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1, according to Project Casting.

“Spotlight’’ is seeking men and women of all ages and ethnicities for background roles.

Those who are interested in auditioning must send an e-mail with a recent photo to SpotlightExtras@gmail.com. You must also include the following details:

-Full name

-City of residence

-Phone number

Advertisement

-Number of children and age of children (if applicable)

-Height, weight

-Sizes: Shoe, waist, inseam, neck, jacket, and/or dress

-SAG/AFTRA number (if applicable)

Additionally, “Spotlight’’ is seeking dog owners and their pets as well as people who own pre-2001 cars and/or bicycles who are comfortable working with their vehicles. Applicants who want to be considered for these roles must also include photos of their cars, bicycles, and/or dogs in the e-mail.
