COMMENTARY

Just because temperatures have been balmy doesn’t mean this ski season will be. If you are like me, eager to ski, then you should surround yourself with all thoughts skiing, riding, and snow. The Boston.com Ski & Snowboard Expo is the place to be.

Starting Thursday, November 12 and running through Sunday, the expo is a chance to chat with chill ski industry folk, see the latest ski gear, peep ski resort improvements, and think snow with like-minded snow sports enthusiasts.

You never know who you will bump into: Glen Plake, Seth Wescott, Mikaela Shiffrin, Pam Fletcher, the Boston.com ski guru. There will be a flurry of entertainers, a Nordic Village, Skyriders Trampoline Show, Burton Snowboard Park, a Country Ski & Sports Fashion Spectacular runway show, and your chance to après ski before ski season at the Long Trail Beer Garden.
