Just because temperatures have been balmy doesn’t mean this ski season will be. If you are like me, eager to ski, then you should surround yourself with all thoughts skiing, riding, and snow. The Ski & Snowboard Expo is the place to be.

Starting Thursday, November 12 and running through Sunday, the expo is a chance to chat with chill ski industry folk, see the latest ski gear, peep ski resort improvements, and think snow with like-minded snow sports enthusiasts.

You never know who you will bump into: Glen Plake, Seth Wescott, Mikaela Shiffrin, Pam Fletcher, the ski guru. There will be a flurry of entertainers, a Nordic Village, Skyriders Trampoline Show, Burton Snowboard Park, a Country Ski & Sports Fashion Spectacular runway show, and your chance to après ski before ski season at the Long Trail Beer Garden.

Tickets to the Ski & Snowboard Expo are $15. Kids 12 and under are free. You can save $3 with this coupon here. And your admission buys you a subscription to SKI or Skiing magazine for a year, and a $10 gift card to Liftopia for discounted lift tickets. There is also tremendous potential to win swag, lift tickets, ski trips, and lodging deals from ski resort exhibitors.

The 34th annual Ski & Snowboard Expo opens Thursday at 3 p.m., closing at 10 p.m. The expo is open Friday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Seaport World Trade Center. See you at the show.
