Actor Jake Gyllenhaal and Boston Marathon bombing survivor Jeff Bauman, whom Gyllenhaal plays in the forthcoming film Stronger, have been making a lot of in-tandem appearances recently, at premieres for the movie and in interviews on The Tonight Show and NBC News.

In a video posted on Facebook Monday, the duo decided to cut out the reporter or television personality and interview each other instead.

Gyllenhaal has praised Bauman’s sense of humor, and it was evident as the Chelmsford native managed to get a few digs in at the actor’s expense, mocking his one-time relationship with Taylor Swift and casting him as an out-of-touch celeb. Among Bauman’s funniest questions for Gyllenhaal:

  • “If you lost your legs in real life, do you think Taylor Swift would write a song about it?”
  • “While you were shooting in Boston, what was the best meal you had flown in from LA?”
  • “I know you run a lot to stay in shape. You ever think about running the Boston Marathon? … You think you could do it without your pack of bodyguards?”
