Mark Wahlberg and “Daddy’s Home’’ director Sean Anders have reunited for another family-centric comedy, and its first official trailer premiered on Wednesday. This time, the movie is a bit more personal for Anders.

“Instant Family’’ is based on Anders’ and his wife Beth Anders’ real-life experience adopting three siblings in 2012. In the trailer, Pete and Ellie (Wahlberg and Rose Byrne) are a couple who look to adopt a foster child but end up bringing home three siblings, including a teenager. Tig Notaro and Octavia Spencer work at the foster care agency andhelp the parents and kids adjust to their new family dynamic.

“When people think about kids in foster care, they’re thinking ahead of all of the hard parts,’’ Anders said in a featurette for the film. “And what the movie does is, it does start with those hard parts, but it also shows what’s funny about those hard parts. Then it takes you through to when you become more of a family, and hopefully it will demystify all of that and you will just realize that they’re just family, and that could even be you, that could even be your kids and your family.”

“Instant Family’’ will hit theaters on Nov. 16.
