Reba McEntire, Gladys Knight, and Josh Groban join the 2019 Tanglewood lineup

All three will perform in Western Mass. this summer.

Singer-songwriter Josh Groban, “Empress of Soul” Gladys Knight, and country star Reba McEntire each will play concerts at Tanglewood this summer as part of its 2019 Popular Artist series.

Groban will play the Koussevitzky Music Shed on July 2, while Knight will make her Tanglewood debut along with R&B group The Spinners on Aug. 28, and McEntire will close out the Tanglewood season on Sept. 1.

The trio joins a summer lineup at the Lenox music venue that includes “Live From Here” with Chris Thile (June 15), Brian Wilson (June 16), James Taylor and his All-Star Band (July 3 and July 4), Train and the Goo Goo Dolls (Aug. 5), Squeeze (Aug. 29), and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (Aug. 31).
