Felicity Huffman is back in court — on TV, at least.
In her first performance since pleading guilty to participating in a college admissions cheating scandal in Boston earlier this month, Huffman appears as an attorney in Ava DuVernay’s upcoming Netflix miniseries, “When They See Us.’’
The trailer for the limited series dropped Friday. It chronicles the story of five teenagers of color, dubbed the “Central Park Five,’’ who were wrongfully convicted of raping a jogger in New York. Huffman portrays Linda Fairstein, the head of the Manhattan district attorney’s sex crimes unit at the time of the crime.
“When They See Us’’ stars Jharrel Jerome, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Freddy Miyares, Justin Cunningham, Vera Farmiga, and Huffman. The series is slated for release on May 31 on Netflix.
