Chris Hemsworth says he shares a ‘brotherly bond’ with Chris Evans

"I think they wouldn’t pair us up on this press tour, because we just spend the whole time screwing around," Hemsworth told Variety.

Chris Hemsworth says that he and Chris Evans are close like brothers — which means, when you put the two “Avengers: Endgame” actors together, the hijinks never stop.

In an interview with Variety, Hemsworth said that the film’s producers wouldn’t allow the two A-listers to team up for the Marvel superhero movie’s press tour because they always end up goofing off.

“With Chris Evans, I have a real brotherly bond,” Hemsworth told the publication. “I think they wouldn’t pair us up on this press tour, because we just spend the whole time screwing around and none of it is on topic.”

Evans confirmed what Hemsworth said to Variety, calling the decision to split the two up “such bull****!”

“We had too much fun together,” Evans said, “and truly like kids in school, we were separated because we weren’t getting s*** done.”

Evans, who has been busy filming the Apple TV+ limited series “Defending Jacob” in Massachusetts this spring, told Variety that he has an idea for a non-Marvel movie for himself and Hemsworth to star in.

“I would love to do one of those ’80s buddy comedies,” Evans said, “where we could shed the characters we are known for.”
