Tour life seems to be treating New Kids on the Block pretty well, if the band’s new music video is any indication.

In the video for “80s Baby,” which NKOTB released on Thursday, Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood take fans through a day in their lives on tour, setting up equipment, palling around backstage, and performing for cheering crowds.

The group hit the road in May for their Mixtape Tour, and the video also features NKOTB’s tour mates Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, Salt-N-Pepa, and Naughty By Nature.

Wahlberg told People that he was instantly motivated when Naughty by Nature’s DJ Kay Gee played him the beat to what became “80s Baby.”

“Kaygee played me tracks, I got inspired, started writing,” Wahlberg said. “But when he played what has now become ’80s Baby,’ I heard it and I just wanted to write to it immediately. And then putting it in front of an audience, there’s nothing like it.”

The Mixtape Tour will stop at TD Garden for two nights, on June 28 and 29. McIntyre told Boston.com in a March interview that he was really looking forward to performing in this city.

“When it comes to Boston, we’ve always been embraced, especially since we got back together 10 years ago,” McIntyre said. “Now it’s not really a reunion, we’re just a working band, but to play our hometown and play the Garden for a couple of nights, it never gets old.”
