Today is 02/02/2020, the first palindrome day in over 900 years
On this Super Bowl Sunday and Groundhog Day, the date can be read the same from back to front.
Number enthusiasts and amused Twitter users were treated to a rarity on Sunday as the date, Feb. 2, 2020 (02/02/2020), was recognized globally as a palindrome โ meaning it reads the same forwards as it does backwards.
The hashtag #PalindromeDay started to trend worldwide.
Yo, banana boy! It’s the first genuinely international #PalindromeDay in nearly a thousand years. https://t.co/Rde6vpo5bV

Some users also noted that it’s the 33rd day of the year with 333 days left in 2020.
Okay as well as 02/02/2020 being #PalindromeDay Iโve just found out itโs the 33rd day of the year with 333 days to go and that makes me a very happy maths boy indeed ?

Welcome to World #PalindromeDay:
02 02 2020
This is the first time in over 900 years (since 11/11/1111) the date is palindromic no matter the date format.
