As if straight out of a scene from Gatsby, thousands of 1920s-themed partygoers got dressed for a super hot day spent outdoors on the scenic Castle Hill property at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts.
The party, set on the North Shore waterfront, celebrated the vintage scene featuring street jazz band Baby Soda with vocalist Tamar Korn, as well as a few original live performances accompanied with Charleston dance lessons. Also on-site were retro-clothing vendors, food trucks, croquet, vintage cars, and games.
Didn’t make it this year? Organizers told Boston magazine that the following years will be bigger, and by 2017, the roaring twenties will expand to a weekend-long affair.
