9 of the best-dressed pups from the 2016 Canine Promenade

Literally just photos of dogs in Halloween costumes.

On Sunday, the Charles River Esplanade hosted its fifth annual Canine Promenade, a parade of people and pups decked out in their finest Halloween garb.

Proceeds from ticket sales help fund the Esplanade Association’s efforts for park maintenance and improvements.

And the Pawsh Dog Boutique in Back Bay provided giveaways and activities—prizes were even awarded for top costumes. First place in this year’s Best Duet category went to a a Pomon Go ensemble, featuring Fenway the Boston terrier.

Take a look below at more of the day’s most stylish getups.
