Cupid’s Undie Run returns to Boston this month

Another year brings another opportunity to jog it out in your underpants for a good cause.

It may be one of the chilliest months of the year, but that won’t stop bands of Bostonians from taking to the streets in their underwear.

The annual Cupid’s Undie Run will hit the Fenway neighborhood on Saturday, Feb. 16. Participants will gather at Lansdowne Pub at noon for drinks before pounding the pavement.

This run isn’t just for the spectacle — Cupid’s Undie Run is meant to raise awareness and funds for neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition that causes tumors to form on nerve tissue. All of the net proceeds will go toward funding research for the disorder through the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Cupid’s Undie Run; Saturday, Feb. 16 from noon to 4 p.m.; Lansdowne Pub, Boston; $40, $45 after Feb. 11, and $50 at the door; all ages.
