The coat seen round the world will soon be available to shoppers.
Glamour magazine was the first to confirm that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s rust red Max Mara Glamis coat, which she wore while departing the White House Tuesday, will be making a comeback.
Originally part of the Italian fashion house’s 2013 outerwear line, the Glamis coat will join the rest of the 2019 Max Mara collection “in a variety of colors,’’ per Glamour.
“Max Mara is honored that U.S. House Representative @nancypelosi wore the #MaxMaraFireCoat to her recent historic meeting at the White House,’’ the official Max Mara account posted to Instagram Thursday, accompanied by a picture of a coat-clad Pelosi.
“A #MaxMara coat is a year on year companion, designed to last a lifetime. This boule shaped, funnel collar coat represents lasting values and projects both personal strength and glamour. #MaxMaraWomen.’’
