As the weather finally warms up, a South Shore clam shack will reopen for the season and begin serving up fried seafood on Thursday.

Tony’s Clam Shop, located just off of Wollaston Beach in Quincy, will open its doors Thursday after a five-month hiatus — it closed for the season last year on Oct. 22.

The restaurant announced on its website and in a Facebook post that March 29 would be the first day of business for the season.

“Finally! We will be opening our 54th season next week, Thursday, March 29th! #tonysclamshop #summeriscoming,” the post reads.
