Marathon Sports Running Clubs
Head to your local Marathon Sports on Tuesday or Wednesday nights for an easy 3 to 5 mile run. Meet local runners, discover new running routes, and rack up special perks. Marathon Sports keeps track of your mileage and when you hit certain milestones you get store discounts and free gear.
In addition to the regular weekly runs, the Marathon Sports Running Clubs host fun events like the summer Pub Run Series. On Pub Run nights, runners head to a local pub after the run for food and drinks. It’s a great way to meet new friends who love to run!

The Most Informal Running Club Ever
This name says it all. If you’re an informal runner looking to meet other informal runners to go on informal runs together, The Most Informal Running Club Ever is the club for you.
This club of quirky runners will make running the highlight of your week (if it isn’t already). The group meets at the Harvard Track Tuesdays for a Track Workout, at Magazine Beach Thursdays for a beach workout, and on Saturdays for bRUNch (run then brunch!)
The club also hosts other fun events including an informal 5K race series and an annual Beer Mile.

Distance: intervals, 3, 5, or 6 mile loops

Lululemon Run Club
Head to Lululemon after work this Monday for a fun 3 – 8 mile run with other Boston runners.
Runners meet at the Prudential Center store at 6 p.m. Monday evenings and then head to the Charles River for a beautiful evening run. After the workout, runners head to the Back Bay Social Club for free appetizers and drinks.
Running? Good company? Free food? Could there be a better way to start your week? I think not.

LUNA Chix Run Club
Ladies, this one’s for you. Meet other women who share your passion for running and the LUNA Chix Run Club. Hosted by the LUNA Chix Boston Run team, women runners are heading to the Newbury Street Athleta store Wednesday evenings this summer for runs along the Charles River.
The team is dedicated to raising money and awareness for the Breast Cancer Fund so while the club is free, donations are welcomed.
What: Women’s Running Group
Distance: 3 – 4 miles
When: 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays until October 29th

City Sports Run Club
Find yourself a running buddy at your local City Sports Run Club. The clubs meet once a week year-round, so this is a great way to stay motivated through the colder temps. The clubs have a solid turnout with the Back Bay club getting about 50 runners per week and the others getting about 10 or 15 each.
The City Sports Run Clubs come with their perks, too. For each mile you run, you get a dollar credit that builds up over each quarter. Vendors like Brooks, Asics, and New Balance often visit the clubs and host raffles and free giveaways, too!

City Sports Half Marathon Training Runs
If you’re training for the Michelob ULTRA Boston 13.1, this is the run meetup for you.
Save your long run for the weekend and head to City Sports on Boylston to meet up with other half marathon runners. Water stops are provided along the run so you don’t have to worry about carrying a heavy bottle all those miles. Plus, the club brings in running professionals to share tips on proper training.
Training for a different half marathon? Maybe the October B.A.A. Half? Still check it out! This meet-up is a great way to kickstart your training. Just make sure to bring this waiver to your first run!
