Nab yourself a pass to the Forbes Under 30 Summit in Boston this October, and you could see Chrissy Teigen, Outdoor Voices founder Tyler Haney, Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso, and others.
Earlier this year, Forbes announced that its Under 30 Summit will be held in Boston for the first time, allowing the city’s young professional talent to come together and attend events about entrepreneurship, innovation, and more. Now, Forbes has released the first round of speakers for the summit, which will be held between October 16 and 19.
Speakers include model and author Teigen, activewear company founder Haney, retail company founder Amoruso, as well as Jennifer Hyman, CEO and co-founder of Rent the Runway; Sam Tarantino, founder of music streaming site Grooveshark; Christopher Gray, co-founder of scholarship-finding tool Scholly; Katerina Markov Schneider, CEO of Ritual vitamin company; John Shahidi, CEO and co-founder of comedy app Shots, and Annie Kadavy, general partner at Charles River Venture.
Forbes Under 30 Summit mentors will also take the stage to speak to the more than 5,000 young entrepreneur attendees. Mentors include Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, Founder and CEO of Breyer Capital Jim Breyer, and more.
“The Forbes Under 30 Summit is the most influential gathering of young global entrepreneurs. This year’s event will be bigger and better as we triple its size – providing even more game-changing ideas, opportunities and experiences,” said Randall Lane, editor of Forbes magazine, in a statement. “This first round of speakers, with 150 more to follow, shows the scale and impact that we’re bringing to the vibrant, entrepreneurial city of Boston.”
The Summit is comprised of five “content hubs” that feature panel discussions, TED-style presentations, keynote speeches, and live demos. The content hubs include “Under 30 VIP,” an exclusive event reserved for honorees from the Forbes 30 Under 30 lists and others by invitation only. “Under 30 Tech” is for those in enterprise technology. “Under 30 Create” is for attendees interested in media, entertainment, music, marketing, and sports. “Under 30 Impact” will focus on law, politics, and social entrepreneurship. And “Under 30 Capital” will feature talks on banking, trading, and investing.
