Calling all performers who don’t mind showing a little skin: “Magic Mike’’ the musical wants you.

A musical inspired by the male stripper-focused comedy-dramas “Magic Mike’’ and “Magic Mike XXL’’ is looking for athletic auditioners to try out for roles in the upcoming stage production. The show, which will serve as a prequel to the 2012 and 2015 films starring Channing Tatum, is set to make its world premiere at Boston’s Emerson Colonial Theatre before heading to Broadway.

“We are looking for true triple threats – phenomenal actors, dancers and singers,’’ the casting website reads. “Candidates must be men between the ages of 18-30 in excellent physical shape.’’

Interested parties must email producers an audition tape, a headshot, and a resume, and be able to attend an in-person callback in New York City.

One thing producers don’t want? A video of you in your birthday suit.

“Please do not send any tapes that include nudity,’’ the website reads.
