A Massachusetts boy’s song has resonated with millions of people amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Rylyn Clark, 4, of Newburyport, sang Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds” on video, which Kathleen Nicholson shared on Facebook April 2, writing: “This sweet boy is a friend of a friends nephew!! I can’t stop watching, he is beyond adorable and just what we all need! He is Rylyn Clark aged 4. You can follow him on Instagram @ryclarkie #dontworry #everylittlethingsgonnabealright”
The post went viral, attracting more than 7 million views, and was featured on the Daily Mail on Wednesday and The Today Show on Thursday. (The video below may take a moment to load, but it’s worth the wait.)
Rylyn’s mother, Maureen Clark, posted the following message to Facebook on Wednesday: “My little boy’s video hit 6.7 million views on FB. His sweet message seemed to resonate. We are holding space in our hearts for all of those who need a bit of hope right now. Rylyn is an old soul and if he says every little thing is going to be alright, I believe him ❤️”
