Paul McCartney will return to Fenway Park on July 17 for a stop on his One On One tour, Live Nation and the Boston Red Sox announced Wednesday.
It will be the fourth Fenway show for the legendary member of The Beatles. He played at the ballpark twice in 2009 and again in 2013.
According to Live Nation’s release, “One On One has unveiled a dazzling re-designed set, and dozens of classics from the most beloved catalog in popular music, spanning Paul’s entire career—as a solo artist, member of Wings and of course as a Beatle—and no shortage of surprises.”
The show is part of the Plainridge Park Casino Fenway Concert Series this summer, which includes Dead & Company (July 15 and 16), James Taylor (August 3), Billy Joel (August 18), Zac Brown Band (August 20 and 21), and Jason Aldean and Kid Rock (September 9).
Tickets for McCartney’s concert for the general public go on sale on Friday, May 6, at 10 a.m.
