A recent health scare forced Steven Tyler to cancel part of Aerosmith’s tour, but the singer has been back onstage performing over the past few weeks.

On Oct. 21 at the David Foster Foundation 30th Anniversary Miracle Gala and Concert in Vancouver, British Columbia, Tyler blazed through a series of Aerosmith’s hits, including “Jaded,” “Cryin’,” and “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” The event, hosted and curated by 16-time Grammy winner David Foster, raised funds for the nonmedical expenses of Canadian families with children undergoing lifesaving organ transplants.

Tyler also took the stage in Texas this past Saturday, playing a show at the Tobin Center in San Antonio to benefit the venue’s Generation NEXT Education Initiative. Tyler showed a lot of energy on stage, banging away on bongos and singing in his trademark wail.

If there was any doubt that Tyler appeared back to his old self, the singer also posted an Instagram photo at AT&T Stadium in which he posed with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
