The Boston Pops Orchestra released a music video Tuesday morning as a tribute to the first responders and other essential workers aiding the public during the coronavirus pandemic.

The virtual orchestra, comprising nearly 80 musicians and conductor Keith Lockhart, performed “Summon the Heroes,” an iconic fanfare composed by John Williams for the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. Williams himself joined the tribute with an introduction filmed from his home in Los Angeles.
