What’s green and white and red all over?

Wally the Green Monster in a Santa suit, of course.

The mascot for the Boston Red Sox joined Keith Lockhart and members of the Boston Pops Orchestra for a rousing rendition of “Must Be Santa” at Fenway Park for a special holiday show. Wearing Sox caps and reindeer antlers, the musicians rove from the outfield to the stands to the dugout.

The performance, recorded in October, is part of a new premium holiday stream from Boston Pops. The orchestra had to put its decades-long tradition of live holiday concerts on hold because of the pandemic, but the festive stream featuring new performances at Fenway Park and Symphony Hall is available online for $30.

Along with the orchestra, the holiday stream also features the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and the Boston Symphony Children’s Choir.

The Boston Symphony Orchestra returned to Symphony Hall in October when it announced a new series of hour-long streams called BSO NOW. Access to the whole BSO NOW series, which started in November and will continue through April 29, is available together with the holiday stream with a donation of $100. Essential workers can access the shows for free.
