It’s hard to say who wants to see live concerts return more — the fans or the artists. But either way, there’s no denying that keeping musicians and music lovers from being in the same room together is just cruel.
But if there’s one silver lining to the tour-less 2020, it’s that artists have had more time to record, especially with home studios and remote recording becoming ever more common. That means more albums — Taylor Swift had two! — and more songs for our lockdown listening pleasure.
