Anna’s Taqueria is bringing back their St. Patrick’s Day corned beef burrito
Because everyone (and every type of food) is Irish on March 17.

St. Patrick’s Day is a week away, and soon enough every bar in Southie will be decked out in shamrock green. But it won’t just be the traditional Irish enclaves celebrating come next Thursday: Anna’s Taqueria will be offering a cabbage and corned beef burrito to celebrate the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
According to a company spokesman, the burrito, which Anna’s first introduced on March 17, 2012, features layers of corned beef, steamed cabbage, and carrots topped with Anna’s beans and rice. The Irish-Mexican concoction will be available at all seven Anna’s locations (including its newly opened Newton Highlands branch) on March 17 only and will cost $6.75.
It’s like traditional Irish fare with the on-the-go, eat-while-you-walk-in-a-parade convenience of a burrito.
