Out with the old (Irish pub) and in with the new (Irish pub).

After decades in business, the Corrib Pub at 201 Harvard St. in Brookline has closed, but a new pub will take its place soon, according to documents filed with the Brookline Office of Selectmen.

The Brookline location of the Corrib closed March 31 after about 30 years in the neighborhood, but the Irish pub and restaurant still has two operating locations in the city: in Brighton and West Roxbury. Still, the Brookline location will be missed, as a photo posted to Reddit shows the pub was crowded on its final night.

The pub will open under new management soon. It will be under the name Grainne O’Malley’s Tavern, and will offer pub fare such as nachos and beer-battered chicken tenders, along with Irish staples like shepherd’s pie and a “Taste of Ireland” appetizer, according to the documents.
