That bout of spring weather was nice while it lasted, but this weekend, it’s back to winter. And there’s not much better than a steaming cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter day.

We asked Boston.com readers on Instagram (using the hashtag #hotchocbdc) and Facebook to share their favorite spots in the Boston area to get a cup of hot chocolate. While we got an assortment of answers, there was a very clear winner: L.A. Burdick Chocolate Shop & Cafe, which has locations in the Back Bay and Harvard Square.
