OpenTable just released its 100 Best Restaurants in America 2017 list, and four Boston-area restaurants made the cut.
Two of those four are right in the city: supper club Yvonne’s, nearly hidden in Downtown Crossing, and Italian small plates spot Coppa, tucked into the South End. The other two are both in Cambridge, not quite a mile and a half from each other on Massachusetts Avenue; Italian restaurant Giulia sits halfway between Porter Square and Harvard Square, and French prix fixe destination The Table at Season to Taste is in North Cambridge.
According to OpenTable, its list was determined by diner reviews left between Nov. 1, 2016 and Oct. 31, 2017, and any restaurant was considered that had a minimum “overall” score and qualifying number of reviews.
The quartet of Boston-area restaurants mark an improvement for local dining establishments from the 2016 edition of OpenTable’s list, when The Table at Season to Taste was the only Massachusetts restaurant to make the cut.
