Once you’ve dried out, or at least taken your antidepressant pills, you’ll be happy to note that while Massachusetts has seen a steady rainfall since the start of Saturday, most of the mountains to the north received a wintry mix that accumulated as much as 10 inches in some areas.
Good news. Even better news is that bluebird skies and warmer temperatures are on tap this week, which features a number of St. Patrick’s Day deals.
There will be $17 lift ticket specials Wednesday at Mad River Glen, WatervilleValley, Jiminy Peak (must print coupon), Sugarbush (Mt.Ellen), Wachusett, and MountSnow, where U2 tribute band The Joshua Tree will play live. Smuggler’s Notch and Stowe – home of the famous green waterfall – are offering $39 lift tickets. Attitash has $35 lift tickets and Ragged is offering $10 tickets.
Remember to wear green, and get out and enjoy the start of what looks to be a nice stretch of spring skiing weather.
