As continued mild temps blanket the East, ski resorts throughout New England take advantage of cold nights to make snow, and skiers get to enjoy surprisingly sunny warm temps during the days. Here are the open ski resorts and trails counts across the East this week:
Sunday River has the most terrain open in the East with 137 acres and 24 trails.
Okemo is close behind with 124 acres on 17 trails.
Killington has 96 acres and 24 trails
Bretton Woods – 9 Trails
Gunstock – 4 trails
Jay Peak – 3 Trails
Loon Mountain – 16 trails
Mount Snow – 8 trails
Mount Sunapee – 8 trails
Stratton – 9 trails
Sugarbush – 9 trails
Sugarloaf – 11 trails
Waterville Valley – 4 trails
Wildcat – 7 trails
Meanwhile out west, Schweitzer Idaho, Aspen Snowmass, Beaver Creek, and Wolf Creek in Colorado are skiing powder today. Keep doing your snow dance ski friends.
